Hi, I’m Rob Hardy, Head Coach at Braintree Lawn Tennis Club. As an LTA Licensed Club Coach, and RPT European Pro I, have been running and developing Braintree Lawn Tennis Clubs coaching programme for the past 10years.
The first stage of our club programme is the afterschool tennis club sessions that run in a number of local primary schools. The Braintree Lawn Tennis Club (BLTC) - School Link, is an initiative set up by the Essex County Lawn Tennis Association and Braintree Lawn Tennis Club.
The idea is to start children playing tennis at School indoors with short racquets and soft balls. Within lessons we aid and develop children’s racket and ball skills, hand-eye co-ordination, balance, movement and stroke techniques and most of all have lots of FUN.
The cost of the course is £30, payable in advanced, either as a cheque made payable to R. Hardy PTC or in cash. Please fill in the booking form and hand in with payment to the School Office.
This course is the first stage of a progressive coaching programme run by Braintree Lawn Tennis Club, which takes children from mini tennis to full court tennis.
This course will run at your School for 10 Sessions on Fridays at 3:20pm starting on the 6th May. The other dates for your diary are: May 13th, 20th, 27th, June 10th, 17th, 24th, July 1st, 8th, 15th. The cost of the course is £30, payable in advanced, either as a cheque made payable to R. Hardy PTC or in cash. Please fill in the booking form and hand in with payment to the School Office.

For those who wish to play more tennis, we also run mini and junior coaching session’s mid-week and Saturdays at Braintree LTC, all progressing to full court tennis, please see the coaching structure and contact me for any further details.
